I had one floor that was so bad the carpets and padding had to be removed then I had to seal off the subfloor/plywood with BIN Primer then lay out a thick plastic sheeting then install new padding and carpet.If you dont neutralize the source of the odor every time the carpet gets wet or damp from humidity it will smell again.

@Michael Glunk I’d get a keurig and a creative assortment or coffee pods, stock the fridge up with breakfast type things, OJ, Apple juice, 1/2&1/2, medium size 2% milk, small fruit basket with bananas, apples, oranges, and some muffins from grocery store in a plastic 4 pack container so they will last several days.

But if it comes out in pieces, it's still better to have a broken tile to show the tile guy than no tile at all.The part im trying to fix is in the shower under the window to the right you can see that they have covered it with silver tape and plastic.
