Hey BP, Im curious on what some of you would say as the better route to go and why.I'm at a crossroads between:Starting and focusing on New construction for single-family houses to eventually get into being able to build small to medium editions as a long-term goal.

Land doesn’t depreciate, and while buildings require maintenance, they usually gain value as markets grow, demand increases, and inflation takes its toll.Real estate investors benefit from a significant tax write-off based on the concept that properties lose value over time, even as their market value skyrockets.

Or trying to see to build my credit to get more funds/ loans to purchase more properties.

I'm trying to figure out a way to utilize a large storage building at one of my MTR listings in Memphis.

Many find a better route is building a fortress of insurance coverage. 

These properties are new builds. 

If I would have known about these earlier I would have bought less personal real estate, but again it depends on your goals of leverage, building wealth, risk, and your overall perception on how to handle your money.
