@Jon Holdman   I hire an attorney for a few hundred bucks to read through my policies.. then I meet with my insurance broker then hammer it out... insurance is all about negotiations if you don;t know what to ask ...

Redfin prices the ARV at 208K.Thus far I've paid 23K to the dodgy contractor plus another approx 19K on materials, some of which are installed and some of which are sitting inside the building.My thoughts are to just get out rather than try to hammer away at what has already been the source of too much stress.
