Your lender is liable for any financial harm that his advice brought upon you, in my opinion.You can appeal the appraisal, though that will take time, which you may not have or the seller may not be willing to give to you.

But if you're going to pay a bunch extra each month anyways to still pay it off in 10 years, and that $500 negative each month isn't causing you financial  harm, I'd say do not refinance.

You have every right to criticize troops and there is certainly no harm in pointing out the pro's and con's of renting to any particular demographic group (free speech is one of those things we fought for).I am curious, when you market your rentals, do you write, "military need not apply" or do you just let the military members think they have a chance and waste their time?
