I love the Bay Area outdoors too much. 

I am partial to the AZ market as there is a diverse economic base, lots of people moving here and good weather (except for the summer months) to enjoy the outdoors.

My next step is switching to electric outdoor lawn tools but I just haven't gotten around to it yet since my gas ones work.   

Hey guys I’m new to landlording and I wanted to install some security cameras outdoors to capture front of the house the yard and driveway, does anyone know which cameras would be best something that I can watch on my phone while not at the property if need be.

You could possibly do well in the Firewheel area of Garland which is close the a large outdoor shopping mall/movie theatre/bars but other than that it just doesn't appreciate well enough for me to invest in.

Western NC has enough attractions, and many more quiet and low-cost outdoor ones as well.

Would you be skiing/ hiking/ outdoor pursuits, or visiting museums, art galleries, and restaurants?

Theres lots of golfing and outdoors stuff

There are a few places open for public but there are some pretty good spots with outdoor seating around Boone and Blowing Rock for a meet up.

And, depending on how cold winters get where the properties are, you may have to spend extra on thick insulation so that you’re not paying a fortune for electricity by trying to keep a “hot tee cup” (water heater) hot when it’s sitting outdoors in below freezing weather.
