The ruling is actually from the state's Real Estate Commission, not a statute... and applies to licensed real estate people not principal buyers.

According to the website below Nevada has a 7-day pay or quit notice; "Nevada Revised Statutes require a seven-day notice to the tenant, instructing the tenant to either pay the rent or "quit" (leave) the rental property.
