Is synthetic Stucco the beginning of a bad deal in a climate like MN?

Insurance companies are very tight on Contractors that do synthetic stucco due to construction defect claims but I don't have any companies that have a problem insuring a home with EFIS but we are in a fairly dry climate.

Hello all,My wife and I are looking to sell our single family home and move to the Tacoma / Puyallup area in the next few months.We had planned on getting a small multi family home and househacking the other units but have found it difficult to find good small multi in the area and are now considering just getting a SFH for the initial move, fixing it up, and renting it out in a few years.My question is, based on your experience with this particular market, is this a good decision based on the climate of real estate in the area at the moment, or are some folks still seeing success at the small multi level, that could allow for house hacking to work?

Zip code 48235Nothing fancy, but its certainly not a war zone, but I have had a couple of realtors look at this property and have estimated its worth at around $50,000, without testing the market I wont know, but I am not selling as cash flow is brilliant.According to Zillow its around $51,800, but this is an estimate of course.I actually inherited a tenant with this property, and she has never missed a payment and pays first week of the monthDue to mid west harsh climate have allowed 1 months rent for maintenance.
