$1MM a year is buckets of money, especially given the tax benefits involved with real estate.

They see you as an easy source of tax revenue and/or as a bucket of ready cash that's needed to bring its derelict stock of housing into some semblance of shape (e.g., lead paint laws).  

But the bathroom sink doesn’t and the toilet doesn’t, we have to use a bucket to flush the water down.

Especially a painter when a few buckets of paint costs less than $200.

Many can create the bucket, but most don't know how to fill it - what matters is how it's made... just like "having an IRA" gives no clue as to what it's invested in.

I AM going to sell it to myself but a sale to a family member is not arms length either so I am wondering if this falls in the same bucket as being legal...but tricky to do in practice for tax purposes.
