I think we could actually see a rally between now and the end of the year-although I see this as a 'strengthen the strong, weaken the weak' rally where people harvest tax losses and offset long term gains in order to better position themselves through picking better investments or moving from individual stocks into indexes/mutual funds.

I would honor the verbal agreement temporarily and move to the same date every month so the late date is clear.

Rent an apt temporarily while you look for house and get settled in your job3. 

The tenants only wanted out of the house temporarily because of the raw sewage in the house. 

It would be easy if needed to temporarily move there. 

Just offer to work to learn and there are many that are willing to do that temporarily with the hope you can go out on your own, help build their business and yours.  

If more credit is not an option currently, you might work some over time, rent out a room in your side of the duplex, pick up a side hustle to increase your income temporarily (deliver pizza?)

We just purchased a house down the street and we could take the toilet, cabinets, sinks out of there which we were going to throw away anyway and throw in this house to temporarily satisfy the city's inspection list.  

I'd keep your current gig temporarily and start working hard to find what you want. 

The leak alone has me worried that even though it's contained now, it'll just weaken over time.
