Hey @Errol Sadler - We haven't closed yet, but I'm thinking about using it as a house hack STR instead of padsplit now.

Is it possible or does anyone know of anyone doing these types of refinancing I am getting close to panic mode and could use any and all help.

That 'other' land trust company absolutely blew it on the closing process causing us all to lose some hair during that period, but we did exit the deal with a great profit.

However, the accounts themselves wouldn’t need to be closed, though non-resident taxation can add complexity.In my case, waiting for a clearer visa status provided peace of mind and allowed me to focus my resources toward securing my green card first.
