I’ve done some research regarding what presenting an offer and all the steps through closing would entail, but I am curious to know for those of you who have been through this process- what pitfalls to avoid, issues you’ve run into, tips on things to think about that may not be obvious?

My main point was don’t accept the Rich Dad assertion as TRUTH.

I don't think they really know what that would entail or simply preying on ignorance.

And that experience caused me to literally laugh out loud at Thierry's assertion that the EU has construction standards that make US properties look like shacks.  

Until you have experienced something, like the varied expenses that crop when landlording, you don't quite realize what it really entails.
