Again there is opportunity here as a VR but it is done and time to move on as the place is getting saturated.

My opinion is that although it appears to be a bit saturated, it could be a good STR town because tourists will visit year round.

Hey @Irvin Nguyen - I operate in Florida, mostly Tampa, Orlando, Jacksonville, lakeland and Central Florida (everything in between).As you noted, many markets in Florida are already saturated and have higher prices leading to lower yield in many cases.

Since then, i also found two properties on craigslist and inquired - both are under contract already.Philly is so saturated, it is stunning!

It's saturated, properties are over-priced, and people were making emotional purchases instead of wise investments.

I think we're seeing a lot of low quality hosts fail in STRs not just because their markets are saturated but because the properties are sub-par and so is the guest experience.

Over saturation, hospitals are not wanting to pay the premium as much for the traveling nurses.

Carpet so saturated with dirt that even multiple professional cleanings didn't get rid of doggy smell and had to be replaced. 

I currently have about 100k equity in my current house and was thinking of building either...A) A new add on suit of 420sqft with its own bathroom and a 3 quarter wall to separate the bedroom and a living room to rent it out.B) a separate unit all together in the back of 400sqft with a small kitchen as the attached addition won't share a kitchenC) just buying a new property all together and trying brrrr method.The market where im at in the 5 cities of Portsmouth, Norfolk, Chesapeake, va beach area on the east coast is a highly saturated with buyers and was considering just adding to my house and renting it out.if have spoken with city about permits and these are the only two options I have with that as my max size I can build.

Some segments of the market are even starting to feel saturated, and this might lead to more challenging conditions, especially with the influx of new buildings.It's worth keeping in mind that the situation could change.
