Some of the higher end laminates are advertised as having a non-absorbent high density core, but we've not put one through its paces yet (for a similar cost, we could install hardwood or stranded bamboo).Quality vinyl plank should not peel off.  

I just googled this and it's also been my experience with FHA appraisals, stuff you wouldn't expect e.g. a little peeling pain...Conventional home appraisals and FHA appraisals differ most in how they look at what the FHA calls "minimum standards of living."

My personal exposure was to the plaster walls with peeling lead paint.

If its orange peel, they'll need to tape it, then come back and float it once minimum if they bedded with hot mud and likely twice.

They do one on those daily 1 hour radio ads masked as an investment show.  

If you're going to hold this property then a future tenants kid WILL pick a hole in it and peel the whole thing off!

I will add surgical masks and latex gloves to the list, because realistically a pandemic is most likely to cause civilization to collapse.

It adds to the cooling load and also can peel paint, especially on a metal door.

The problem is that the house likely has lead paint on the exterior and the interior and the exterior is peeling badly.

Ideally, an amateur should be able to mask his inexperience by exuding confidence and becoming educated on how to carry out the transaction.
