it will be difficult to turn a profit unless you're renting short term because the home prices are in the 300+ but the rental rates are in the upper $1,000's- low $2000.

I think it would be difficult to house hack here due to the high cost of real estate; I also avoid investing in NY as it is not a landlord friendly state.  

first of all, thank you for your reply and i really appreciate the acknowledgement from other investor as i keep second guessing myself in this deali think what freaked me out a bit was when i found out about the 3rd floor exterior siding and it's rather difficult to find contractor who work with scaffolding yet not break a bank, i eventually found a contract who i worked with in the past that can do it, but this event kinda make to second guess my decision

Not sure how difficult it is to remove these watermarks in photoshop, but it would make your pictures that much harder to use.

The HOAs are getting difficult because buildings are getting older and with people working from home, there is more usage on the pipes and water.

@Michael Plaks you know what I am referencing so why do you need to be difficult?
