I'd say there are no issues on this end, unless you want to have a foreign affiliate entity that is consolidated with the domestic entities.

We have time, we will consolidate what we have, maybe do some value add plays on our existing properties, pay off some high cost loans, review if any of our properties are good to sell. 

There are lots of services that consolidate public real estate data.

Also, in terms of loan consolidation, I've heard both yes and no.

One can imagine a similar move for an investor who wanted to consolidate ownership of his LLC's into a Living Trust or other estate planning vehicle.  

They just impoverish themselves even more when, in reality, they should be consolidating their m&o on their own dime not expanding.I would argue that income/sales tax are a better alternative due to being more based on one's ability to pay.
