This is where you can learn and network with other people who have the same goals as you do - and many are willing to share their experiences with others. 

After years in real estate and military service, I’ve learned a similar lesson: at the end of the day, your mission is your responsibility. 💪 You’ll have some wingmen along the way, sure, but it's all on you.Success will bring a squad of cheerleaders, but challenges?

I've learned the easiest way to do this is ask the owner to remove everything unnecessary for guest use AND give us permission and the freedom to remove items as we see best.Less stuff in the home, less issues and less work each turnover.

What are some unconventional creative financing strategies you've personally used or encountered in real estate investing that led to unexpected success, and what lessons did you learn from those experiences?

There are a huge amount of US ex pats here no need to really learn Portuguese etc etc. 

Opportunities like this don't come along often and can be the foundation for your future.You just need to know what repairs are going to come due and when, and start learning about how to be a landlord.
