Just left a job and will likely be going back into (software) contracting, so income looks a little sketchy (plus, for my company there are a number of write offs, so the net is kind of low).

I ended up designing software around it so I would be consistent, my math would be accurate, and I couldn't argue with myself into a bad deal.
