In CT the landlord must:provide a clean apartment when the tenant moves in; clean common areas (hallways, stairs, yards, entryways); keep hallways and entryways lighted well; and, keep plumbing and heating systems working (both hot and cold running water).correctly repaired and safe stairways, porches, floors, ceilings and walls; good locks on the doors to the apartment; safe fire exits from the building; two electrical outlets in each room; viewing devices on doors that open onto a hallway (in some communities); extermination service if the apartment is infested with pests or rodents; and a smoke detector that is in working order.

Called electrician and he thinks it’s a short somewhere causing it (tenants stated there is a room with two outlets that used to work but don’t anymore, the timing doesn’t align with the fuse though).I had one electrician come and he quoted me $1000, i i thin this is high for rewiring 2 outlets.

Think loss-to-lease reduction/elimination, and light renovations (paint, lighting in common areas, maybe carpet in some units, new faucets and new outlets all around, etc.

Photos do not show the rotten floor, termite damaged door frames, leaks that destroyed the cabinets and floors, electrical outlets that are not wired.Then you need to have an escrow company that is NOT his represent you or an attorney, depending on the state.

YUP Tesla is going to change the automotive world no doubt.. i am starting to add  EV charging out lets in my spec homes garages.. and I tell folks you may not need it now.. but in the next 10 years virtually everyone will have at least one EV.
