Pressure cleaning is a good idea also but I think I would invest in 5 gallons of paint and roll it out with a decent color and it would make the curb appeal much improved.

Folks I need your help with a fairly important kitchen designing dilemma:For a rather typical South Bay area SFR with a $1.2M-ish ARV, with white Shaker kitchen cabinets/stainless hardware & appliances, the color-du-jour grey "wood" flooring, similar but lighter toned walls, no wall paint in kitchen (narrow stacked stone backsplash)...............is a familiar, tried and true, "veiny" granite or a more uniformly colored quartz the more sought after countertop these days??

you could do a brick step-out up top rather than a custom cornice that could be very pricey. it could look nice if you color match the vintage brick or go the opposite and do a contrasting color (like white to match your windows and basement) to make the top stand out. attached are some examples of some top step-outs. the brick mason doing the re-pointing could probably give you a quote for doing the top as well.
