That included showing apartments, and meeting with the owner who did all of the maintenance, once a week or more, letting the cable guys in under the building when someone changed or added cable or phone, etc., complaints, bookkeeping, etc.

Remember, whichever new tenant you put in will be locked in under rent control as well at the new rate, so in 5-10 years that rate will be relatively low as well.

Yes as a provider it is easy to spit out what you do, your pitch, the benefits of working with you and even a couple properties that would work for the investor in under 15 minutes but many times the investor wants to talk longer.
