A lot of times we like to overdo it when it comes to home staging but if you think "furniture store" type decor (simple , not bulky) and are even able to get a furniture store to stage the home you're good to go.

Pdf the siding is in good shape, I would keep it and add an accent, like shutters, or decorative trim above the windows/doors, as long as it is consistent with the home's style.
