The other thing...all the loss models are being updated with these events making insurance risk higher which translates into a higher quoted cost...so no surprise to the industry folks. 

We manage over 500 doors in Detroit now but only offer it to folks we work with on the acquisition side. 

I never understood why ghost want to harass regular folks just because they want to live a peaceful life in the home.

Most folks are willing to sit down and impart knowledge especially if you pick up the tab for lunch etc.

It may sound nice to pay a 6% management fee but the extra fees can add up to be more than the other company that charges 10% with no additional fees.

Also check with the assessor's office if those extra basement areas are permitted.
