My personal preference for color is royal blue & white. 

The red brick color and the treated wood don't make a really nice color combination, and I'm thinking about painting the wood.  

Can I just scrape and recover with a different color?

I have a house I plan on rehabbing and the roof color doesn't go well with the rest of the house.  

Suddenly, by remote control, appeared giant color slides showing the state capital building and the projected housing appreciation numbers for the entire Sacramento area. 

Yesterday I went to get Allure at HD for a property I'm getting ready, no problem on the cherry plank, bye the Ahlar I use in kitchens and baths is out and was told its discontinued along with Corfu, the Sedona color was still current, but I don't like the look as much.

It is throughout the house and the dark lines seem to correspond to the attic/roof beams.

Between that and personal service as @Michael Boyer mentions, paint colors inside, etc, it is pretty easy to differentiate yourself from the big management co's.  

From the photo the roof just looks like a standard grayish colored shingle roof which in my mind would go with any number of siding choices/colors :)  Just my two cents.
