I have read about a rental house where a second story deck collapsed during a party and of an apartment complex whose second floor exterior walkway rail fell off and the city condemned the complex.

Federal law considers the renters to be victims in the housing collapse days and the laws were written that way. 

A TOTAL COLLAPSE of our system and a fresh start is the only hope to restore our country to greatness (in the distant future) that it previously had.

Can people still take risks and LOSE or are we a country where everyone must win all the time and the taxpayer picks up the tab, or will pick up the tab as our economy collapses in the near future?

I’m thinking I just tear it down so it doesn’t collapse on a person or their property.

I believe the oil collapse is hitting Houston too hard and this will get even harder.

For older rentals this is something I would love to have a plan for, should the water ever stop draining due to a blockage/break/collapse  (or worse- a backup into the house) of an old underground main sewer line. 

Perhaps I am playing it safe since we are newer to the game or perhaps I can see a fairly large economic collapse happening in the near future. 

I also don't know what would come with that collapsing garage roof.Still a flaming hot deal, but I just want to be pickier.  

Although infinite factors are taking effect, it seems like overall the major themes are too much consumer debt, a dollar that's on the verge of collapse, and housing prices are in a bubble.
