My family is from Abruzzi, L'aquila, and I live about an hour north of Brooklyn.  

I'm primarily looking for 2-4 unit multi-families at Jersey City, NJ, Union City, NJ, and Cypress Hill, Brooklyn, NY.

I've used Rapid Realty services in the past located in Brooklyn.

I want to get into multi family in Brooklyn but was wonder if I should use hard money to front the whole deal? 

I have checked Harlem, Brooklyn, Queens over the years, have no choice but to explore out of state for cash flow properties.

Hello Bigger Pockets Community,My name is Anthony and I currently live in Brooklyn, NY.

I'm curious, is this angle mostly a Manhattan thing or is it also worthwhile in Brooklyn and other areas of NYC?  

If you're planning to live in one side and house hack with the other unit(s) I would keep my eyes open for multi's in Northside close to Brooklyn Park Blvd but west of Richmond-Henrico Tpke or, alternatively, Church Hill near Broad St and Chimborazo.

I will say however that Brooklyn, Staten Island, Queens, and certain areas of the Bronx are very viable options for these deals but price points are not anywhere near $100K.
