You can always post here on BP to get insights from other investors and start getting an idea of the area.I recommend reading “Long-Distance Real Estate Investing: How to Buy, Rehab, and Manage Out-of-State Rental Properties” - I found it to be very helpful when I got started investing 2.5 years ago.

I'm looking at doing a 1031 from Colorado to investing in residential (single family/multi-family) in Cheyenne, Wyoming area and wondering if anyone has current insight to this area?

Any help/advice on what kind of financing to go for (FHA/conventional/first time home buyer benefits) and any insight on how best to do this with a partner would be greatly appreciated.

Some other things to consider would be liability insurance, max occupancy in the property, staffing.Any insight would be appreciated!
