Then I started calling different county courthouses and asked for the assessors office, then asked when they usually hold the auctions, then ask how well attended it is, how many properties make it to the auction usually, what to expect after the sale, and most of the time the person on the other end of the call has a lot of great info for me to get started, some states that I called the person at the courthouse will even warn you if junior liens carry over to you with the property.
