My feeling is yes and if they are going to be on the lease, then they need to also undergo a background check.

Be sure to post the rent criteria before the prospect under goes the background check.

Funny what you can accomplish by having a bit of face time.I've got two properties reserved at the moment and both are undergoing the repairs and renovations needed to get them rented.  

DO NOT DO BUSINESS IN MISSISSIPPI WITH GLOBAL FUNDING COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT, LLC.....based in Florida building under Go Zone in Mississippi....beware....they approximately 5 companies setup that funnel money into Global Development.....flips are involved.....Dream Developers, LLC, Land Solutions, LLC, The Squad, LLC, among others.....someone buys the lots under Land Solutions employed by them....get the picture now

I inherited this tenant and am now appreciating the background checks that all new tenants must undergo.

The magazine had positive comments about Pittsburgh: "Currently undergoing a renaissance, this hidden gem has distinctive neighborhoods, tree-lined streets, glittering skyscrapers, upscale shops and a diversified economy."

There is also the seasoning period issue, where Fannie Mae requires a 1 year period before undergoing a cash out refinance.

I had to undergo intestinal surgery and had a colostomy bag for two months, I was in and out of the hospital for two more surgeries over the next 4 months.

There are more than enough areas within the city limits that are undergoing regentrification so the inventory should be there for a long time.
