I feel like the initial investment is a little inflated.

I started last year and now I have acquired tow duplexes with two apartment buildings under contract.

I recognize there are other ways I could invest this cash (including another property) but I am being mindful of levering myself out too much in the current environment where job losses are more common in my industry (tech).

And I started investing about 9 years ago at your age (44).

I'm hoping to connect with some mortgage brokers in Puerto Rico who may be able to finance an investment property in Vieques. 

Is it possible to do DSCR with mobile homes? Are mobile homes Section 8 approval?

I would probably start with something different for your first property.
