If an attic's insulation seems to have rat droppings on parts of it, does this require pulling all the insulation out, decontaminating the whole attic, and re-installing new insulation?

If a payout of a claim is deemed necessary because of an inferior product, it seems unfair that I as the buyer would have to bear the cost of ripping out the inferior product and the cost of re-installation

If you are talking a full tub tear-out and reinstall, I wouldn't want to budget a single day since there's usually going to be some prep work requirements before setting the new tub.

"building paper" and no indication of taping the fenestration with Dupont, BlueSkin, etc.In Josh's situation, unless I could find an obvious bit of missing/bad calking under the threshold, I'd pull the door frame out, re-prep and re-install.
