Yes they sometimes get on the furniture, but we let the owners know that one of the ottoman's in the living room as a full compliment of furniture covers for all the couches and chairs.

If you don't have a lot of outdoor possible trouble spots like decks, pools, hot tubs etc.

Both of these cost you (from rent) utilities, amenities supplies like paper towels, and furniture deterioration.

How BiggerPockets, @Alexandra Hughes Pailet, and @Katie Miller went with the flow as the weather threatened (and did) to disrupt all of our outdoor events, travel, and transportation.

All I do is bring in the balcony furniture.  

We put in an outdoor shower right by the hot tub, which has helped guests showering before entering.

Ended up flying on Saturday night and the weather is not very conducive to outdoor sports, lol.

I've also known a few people who add  simple yard decorations or outdoor chairs to give the appearance of it being lived in.
