Financial freedom requires maintaining your lifestyle for life.

So it's not a 9-5 thing for me, it's a lifestyle. 

Nowhere is wholesaling the attractive “lifestyle” promoted by people with something to sell you.  

not everyone's lifestyle or family situation permit but it's a great way to get started.and i agree with the others... 100% leverage is very risky. 

I now have 10 rental houses, am looking to move to small apartment buildings and am a basic member at Lifestyles Unlimited, which I also find to be worth the minimal membership fee.  

I do NOT owe anyone who made other choices any part of my lifestyle I EARNED!

If you have a high rent and no rent control, without knowing anything else about your financial situation, lifestyle etc. 

This really isn't a question of what's the "best" way to invest, it's more what works well for you, your resources and lifestyle. 

We might consider the lifestyle aspect if it's a place where we want to go back regularly.Speaking of Mexican cartels, I've been going to Mexico for more than 20 years, know a huge number of people who invest and work in real estate across the country and I've never heard about cartels taking over properties.

Do the math with local rents and call different property managers to determine if the numbers work then consider your lifestyle and college schedule.
