Yes there will be months you will be "down" because you'll be paying to live there but it would be the cost of acquiring the property and will help you start your portfolio sooner rather than later.

By Thanksgiving (most even sooner) all will be back online. 

The route David mentioned will work for now, but snowshoeing is frowned upon by carriers and will eventually (sooner rather than later) die as a marketing tactic.

I bought an out of state property and have about $50,000 left to pay off for the loan. Anyone know if paying 1 huge principle payment at the end of each year would pay it off faster verses bi weekly payments?
