Besides the new WEC and it being a horse enthusiast area (and closer to horse ranches/trails), Ocala does not have a great reputation (friends don't care for it).

The only exception I found is a court case in NJ that related to suppression of a gun search and did say tenants in a boarding house had an expectation of privacy as regards to common areas and that search.

I agree that some groups take the money making aspect to far and are simply taking advantage of enthusiastic newbies.The two groups I spend most of my time at now are not REIAs, The BWI Meetup and a group of landlords that get together for a casual lunch once a week.

Don't bring your own gun to this fight....

Ok, Rambo - the guy who's supposedly had guns and knives pulled on him but is too afraid to admit exactly who he meant when he said "recognized minorities", then doubles-down and goes right back to calling them a "problem".

I might be jumping the gun here but I am in the early stages of searching and placing my first offer on a property.
