Failures are bound to happen and the sooner you endure them, the closer you are to your major successes.

As a Christian, even Christ Himself was willing to endure death because of His why—me.I stared into the mirror having a goal, but pumping myself up was not what drove me to sell more properties.

I am quite sure about SFR, because the return is too low for all the management you have to endure.

Same thing goes for people who are extremely lazy by nature, and are not willing to endure any effort or sacrifice to maximize their product's potential.Conversely, big ego people, ones that think they, and everything they touch, is gold, often set rates far higher than they can reasonably get - and then raise hell about the tenant pool, other landlords, tax cuts, and everything else under the sun when the unit sits there vacant, forever.

In addition to the stress real estate investors endure from finding buyers, they, also, suffer stress from trying to build a strong buyers list.

Thanks @Andrew Syrios - I have a lender lined up who will refi @ 75% the ARV, I'll just have to endure the first 12 months of being cashflow neutral. 

I remember in one of the podcasts you, brandon, said that we investors should, or possibly another investor you know, said that he only puts quality into the rentals in the hopes that the things will endure the tests of tenants; here in lies my (our) delima. 

The smart investors that endure know when to take some chips off the table and have some deleveraged blue chip properties in their portfolio.
