Investors do not like tenants that pay below market and re locked into long term leases.

Recently, I was debating whether to lock in the mortgage rate for a single-family home we're purchasing in December, especially with rates spiking recently, or wait until after the next Fed meeting and election to be finalized.

The only reason to lock them in for 10 years is because you want to sell it to another investor and get out because you have too much equity, but Like I said if you lower the rent then you lower the value you can get. 

Reminds me of the house I bought that had 9 dogs locked inside.
