The only difference is goal of my prospective park is for it to be in my home state.

Hey BP, first time landlord working with a section 8 prospect.

He left a pitch-packet with a filled-out Listing Agreement, asking to list the property for 7 days with him so he could show it to the prospective buyer.I think he's just fishing for a listing and is full of it. 

Mainly, prospecting - aka speaking with potential buyers and sellers.I would also recommend calling everyone you know (Neighbors, family, friends, co-workers, etc.) to let them know you're in RE... don't say its a side-hustle... don't say you're 'trying it out'... don't say its only a P-T thing...

I have kicked the tires on mid term rental prospects in Champaign-Urbana, but that's it.

Prospecting is usually the best and most cost-effective way to generate conversations with potential sellers, plain old cold calling.

This can help 1- Bring your listing back on the first page as it could be buried and 2- some prospects might get weary seeing a property that says listing for how so many days.Selling is also a good option if needed.regarding "I’ve read some property managers charge a fee equal to one months rent for placing a tenant .Is this standard?"
