2) Is it worth it to pay for access to curated listings of pre-foreclosure and REO properties as a newbie who doesn't have the connections for access elsewhere?

But, I was contacted later and told there was a Mastery "intro" program I could select that was only $3k to start and would give me access to their curated lists of properties and private lenders.

Looking through my Audible playlist, these stick out to me as far as general economic principles for college aged students in no particular order.1.

The only way to cold call effectively is to highly curate a list and then vet it through other means to make sure you have the potential of a conversation about real estate when you call.

As long as you can curate your audience (being close to a dental school), it could be profitable and fun. 

Curate your network and come up with a number of people who would trust you enough to fund the first deal.

I know in the forums you can ask questions or answer questions posted by other BP members and I know the BP Blog is a place for more curated, researched, and detailed advice.
