Hey BP,Situation: Potential tenant applicant uses a person convicted of dealing cocaine (felony) and convicted of felony forgery with intent to defraud as a character reference.

I have work going on at 2 properties.I also have some cash and am.looking for some opportunities.I am working on one now where the owner is in prison and an attorney has POA for the convict.

You have to understand and be convicted to your WHY to be able to sustain yourself through the tough times.  

Can't wait to see all the convictions for fraud that will soon start appearing.  

more less after finally running both of their record both tenant were convicted felonies and all the reference and all the info are all wrong. 

The building used to be a dental lab and the idea is to turn it into a halfway house for ex-convicts or day care.

Personally I avoid doing anything illegal that would carry a conviction or a fine or put my license at risk, but look at how many real estate investors use cheater signs to market their business, even though in most areas they risk a class one misdemeanor or worst to do so.I will PM you a name and number of an attorney in our area who I believe has represented investors in DPOR complaints before. 

Well it appears that we just elected a convicted theft and embezzler as mayor, so I'm not too optimistic about the new leadership.

If you get her son convicted, it could affect him for the rest of his life.
