Many thanks,RoseSomething else to consider is that many people who are able to quit their W2 job through real estate in a short timeframe (3 to 5 years) are doing so by replacing it or at least supplementing their income with active investing activities such as wholesaling or flipping.

First they do not have deep enough pockets to supplement their tenants rent (or don't want to) and second they are living off of the income.
