All he had to do was measure and cut a hole (which he ended up doing anyway) like it's done with all plumbing when installing cabinets.3) needed to add power the new ceiling lights in the kitchen, so the geniuses removed the dedicated computer outlet, rerouted the computer outlet to an old fuse box that supplies 1/2 the power to the house (don't ask me why, I moved into the house with1/2 fuse 1/2 circuit panel).

Your argument is like stating you shouldn't have any amenities, arcade games, pool table, etc.. because a guests may spill stuff on the arcade machine and ruin the circuit boards or a guest tears the felt on the pool table and the next guest is not happy.

So I get one the phone and the tech starts telling me the unit is old, and to fix it will require several parts and even then they can’t warranty the work because of the age of the unit etc… I ask him how much and he says, more than $1500 for a new main circuit board and several other parts he needs to price out.
