Not to mention, it is in a PRIME location in DFW, and the city is known for festivals, wineries, parks, and a massive lake we live about 1 mile from.I LOVE THIS HOME, and I bought it for my babies, but they are no longer with me, and I have some debt, but expect to pay it all off once my business gets going.

I'm thinking of purchasing a vacation rental in a Southern California city that has several wineries.

This was originally to test out the Airbnb model before we moved on a property.It ended up being great, we mainly had guests on the weekend for weddings (we are near wineries) and generated 400-800 in extra income.The benefits of doing Airbnb vs a long term tenant are as follows1.

@Tim Fitzgerald  to funny I know Dave Del Dotto  he has two wineries in the Napa valley one right across the street from my house.. ( moved a few years back) but when I lived there I would go over and end of he day share a bottle of cab with him and he would regale me in lore of yesteryear.. he has killed it in the premium wine business though and if you ever to out to Napa do check out his wineries the one on Atlas peak by my house has great caves and he does experimenting with different kinds of barrels and barrel tops.. to create some interesting blends.. 

Its funny you bring up Dave Del Dotto he is now has a pretty cool winery in Napa..

@Corey Duttonone of my partners in the Napa valley who owned a winery and many vineyards when he was buying a new vineyard..

We have more wineries than Napa, quick access to Lake Nacimiento, just 30 minutes to beaches, and have a great downtown square.

Large lake, fishing, canoeing etc. adjacent to blm land, hunting, hiking, shooting, outdoor types of recreation opportunities, as well as being situated in the heart of one of Oregon's wine countries, with 3 wineries within 15 minutes of the property.

However that part of the world is filled with a lot of actual Bed and Breakfasts, wedding venues, wineries, etc. 

Dave Del Dotto was my neighbor when I lived in the Napa valley his winery ( one of them ) was right across the street from my home.. ( its the one on Atlas peak road if you google it)But just Google Del Dotto wine's Napa and you will see Dave is living the life.. one of the nicest spots in America to live is the Napa valley hands down...IMHO  but I am biased of course.I can Assure you Mr.
