Very fast, economical and looks fine.I, however, use antique white on walls with white on ceilings and trim for contrast.Full disclosure: I have a partner/significant other who makes all such decorating decisions.However, this combo really pops with either polyurethaned hardwood floors or the latest in trends: European-style hardwood floors.

A lot of the antique whites are yellowish, and that's always a good choice of color for rentals.If you don't like the way it looks, you can dress it up with crisp white trim and that won't cost nearly as much as repainting.Tenants get tired of rental white walls, so any color at all is often a plus.

I saw one larger den that used an off white or sand color on the ceiling with darker brown walls and they had put up false beams and antiqued them.
