Atlanta has a very active REI community - there's no way you can't do better than this PM, and if the neighborhood is good, I'd quit doing voucher tenants as well.As an aside: are you investing in Georgia all the way from Milan?

Because the waitlist to get approved for a section 8 voucher is long, the recipients are typically very good tenants because they know if they aren't they run the risk of losing their voucher.

The tenant has a 1 bedroom voucher but the house is a 4b/2b (she stated she would be getting a 3 to 4 bedroom voucher soon), and currently pays $1150/mo.

Hey was curious what different experiences were with sec 8 vouchers.

Would be ideal if my tenant could cover the water bill, but since it's a section 8 tenant, I picked up the water bill because the voucher maxed out.

Am I allowed to charge more for an apartment if the tenant is a voucher user versus regular tenants?  

This company is a well known realty company and the broker I purchased the house from (who I trust), voucher for the property manager.

I know these people don't want to lose their voucher, so what do you think would be my best course of action?
