@Adonte LipsconbRead the longer BP post from Steven Songleton regarding investments in Raleigh at https://www.biggerpockets.com/forums/55/topics/369...In my honest opinion, Cary, North, West, and Northwest Raleigh, Cary, Morrisville, Southwest Durham, and Chapel Hill are the nicest areas of the Raleigh-Durham Metro to live in, but that also means you'll pay premium pricing.

On the downside, it takes 3 months rent just to pay the property taxes.I have a duplex unit in Southwest Colorado, one unit has been vacant since December, but when the snow is piled higher than the windows, it is just a bad time to rent.

That actually helps me to think that way because if the south west side of Atlanta is ever to grown into some of the other higher value sides of town, a single family conversion would definitely need to be made a while down the road.
