@Adam Cherko, though admittedly silly to put it on the back burner because it takes little work to complete, I have put that on hold.

I am going on 2 years of house hacking (plan to house hack for a 3rd year), and I am looking to hear your perspective of how many short term rentals it has taken you to achieve Fat FIRE. 

An old school pilot light range is dead simple to fix, even in some electric lighting gas ranges the main thing that goes is the oven igniter or the burner sparkers.  

One of the units is rented at a discount to an on-site manager, but the property is professionally managed by Complete Property Care, LLC.I had some plans to completely renovate the kitchens of all the units, but now that has taken a back burner to just getting units online.

Is like having a big fat savings account and you only pay interest when you use the money.

Maybe a flat top stainless stove versus round burner white in a C neighborhood.

Also a couple of the burners won't light without holding a lighter to the gas.

Now we are into Mobile Home Parks and are fat dumb and happy in that position now.
