I'm not sure what the temp rating is on smoke detectors but I see them going off all the time in vacant unheated houses during the winter when the power is left on and the heating system is shut down.

I'd be happy that water is turned off right now with the temps dropping below freezing this time of year in a vacant house. 

We also get most of our bookings through Airbnb, Furnished Finder, and temp housing agencies.

Most utility departments will do a temp 5 or 7 day turn on for inspection of a vacant for a nominal fee.

If it's below what it should be raise boiler temp and if not she can supplement with electric heaters at her cost. 

I'm not sure there will be much additional profit to temp anyone to bring that much money to the table.
