I’m quite certain it is, since the couple we bought the home from 6 years ago rented it out as one, and we heard it was quite successful since it’s near Dodge Ridge ski slopes… it was perfect for us because it’s just 5 minutes from the general store and great food, and less than ten from gorgeous hiking. 1.5 hours from Yosemite… so that’s why it did so well… I think that’s why the investor sent us that letter in the mail originally

I would still suggest enlisting the services of a professional, however, as someone with more in-depth knowledge of your situation would be able to give a much more personalized and tailored answer for you.EDIT: I can only think of one reason off the top of my head where amending a previous year's return is the correct way to do something that you couldn't otherwise do when filing an original return.

They came in a 6.375%, no loan origination fee, etc. and said I can refinance at anytime with no prepayment penalties, seems almost too good to be true.

The bank will need to add you as a signer just like they did for the original holding co LLC and used your companies EIN number not your SS #.
