Regarding time frame and intent, the HUD form 9548D, Individual Owner-Occupant Certification clearly spells out terms and conditions of the contract: I/We ... submit this offer to purchase the property located at ... as an owner-occupant purchaser.

Bank comes back with acceptance of offer, but in doing so, sends a multiple page addendum which spells out all kinds of terms to the contract which over rides the original PSA (purchase and Sales Agreement). banks are so busy (and foolish) that even though I offered a 0 day inspection, there addendum ends up coming back with a 17 day, 10 day, or minimum 7 day inspection clause for buyer.

Shanequa the reason the insurance might not ask is they specifically do not cover aluminum wiring in their policy.Don't ASSUME your insurance will cover it unless spelled out for sure in writing.People get nice little surprises when they go make a claim on their policy.
