@Shaun Lapsley in correct you can have someone form overseas wire you funds at any time I do it fairly regularly.. they will want to use forex so they don't get hammered on exchange rates.

@Brian E Betts nice of you to step in.. the aussie investors got hammered I wrote an e book for aussie investors which outlines what they need to watch out for .. as I was posting on the property investor forum in AU ( AU version of BP) and it was evident to me that US promoters were simply ripping these nice people off.. some of the AU investors though need to be held accountable they went for pie in the sky returns and did not calculate risk.. lots of money lost that's for sure and in more places than just your area.the buy rehab and sell sub prime owner occ is a very big thing in that area of the country and fraught with fraud and crumbled deals.

@Steven Gesis We saw a lot of Aussies come into the market the Aud though dropped 25% so I don't think its quite as good as before.Plus some of the US companies really hammered those poor folks IE selling them crap for top dollar.. along with just plain fraud..
